Evacuee Apartment Host Program
As the war with Hamas continues, thousands of Israelis are displaced from their homes and in need of immediate shelter in safer cities within Israel. Those who had to evacuate are in need of short term and long term housing solutions as they grieve for members of their community and wait for peaceful times to return to their homes.
In response, Bayit Brigade is launching an Evacuee Host Program to facilitate matching hospitable hosts in Israel with evacuees in need of a home. Through our experience with Lone Soldier housing, we have a strong network of volunteers and can coordinate donations and movers to furnish spaces to accommodate guests.
We can only accept homes that have a miklat/mamad (shelter) in the unit.
Matching Process
Submit the Prospective Host Form with your housing details
A volunteer in Israel will reach out to you and connect you with evacuees in need of housing
Bayit Brigade can help with apartment furnishing. We have a storage unit, moving van, and access to a donation network for household furniture.
